Transparency Initiative Seychelles - Uncensored Series

Our First production as Black Parrot Productions in collaboration with Emilie Chetty, a talented Seychellois Director, gave us a challenging yet raw experience of creating a mini series of Panel Discussions.

Our task was to create a series of panel discussions that provoked unbiased conversation around important areas such as the Fisheries deal Seychelles has with the EU, or the issue of how Land had, and has been disbursed over the years.

We contacted a wide variety of potential panelists that we thought would give interesting insight to these topics without pointing fingers or 'getting personal'. Our Moderator had the task of prompting and managing strong views and opinions that eventually ended up being great discussions.

In Seychelles, we've lacked the clear communication between government and its public and creating such videos helps break this barrier and pave way to, hopefully, a more transparent & open dialogue without consequences.

The production was filled with fixing elements such as finding the right location, set building & finding the right schedule that fit all the participants.
