A new one for us!
The team from Comberry Studios contacted us for a new episode in the popular travel show 'Galileo' that explores different countries and their traditions as well as what they have to offer to potential tourists. The series is broadcast on the German TV channel 'ProSieben' as well as their YouTube channel which has over 3 million subscribers making it one of the most popular travel series in Germany.
As the crew couldn't fly down to shoot themselves, they asked us to carry this out for them. The episode explored 5 things that are unique to Seychelles through the eyes of local protagonists. After receiving the brief, we knew just the guys for the job - local artist and personality, Travis Julienne - @travis_seychelles_julienne, and local fisherman and outdoor adventure guru, Savio Dyer. Between them, they showed us a day in the life of a Seychellois.
Heading over to La Digue for the shoot, we experienced bad weather, typically unpredictable here, which slowed day 1 shooting down however we got lucky with day 2 and in a mad rush, managed to finish up everything with time to spare to enjoy the catch of the day.
Thanks again to Comberry Studios for trusting us with this shoot being over 4,000km away and look forward to collaborating again in the future.
