French artist 'Da Uzi' in Seychelles

We were quite pleasantly surprised (considering the global hassles of travel in 2021) to receive an email from HK Corp for a music video they wanted to shoot. The plights and restrictions of the new normal, however, clearly didn't stop director's Kevin Hillem's vision of shooting on a paradise island.

With a crew of 8, the team flew down Da Uzi to shoot his video clip L'impasse here in Seychelles. We had a tricky time offering the right location given the South East monsoon was in full throttle, and that gave a limited number of options. However, we finally managed to settle on a beautiful little beach in the South which was perfect for realizing the director’s vision. With tide levels ever changing, we had the rather difficult challenge of shooting this one in under 6 hours! However, we managed to pull through with our great team of extras, suppliers and of course, the Black Parrot dedication we offer our clients.
